Our business has an emphasis on providing a professional service, in a friendly, informal setting, with a highly competitive level of fees. All work is carried out by either Simon or Tracy Gould, and hence, you are always able to speak directly with the person responsible for all aspects of your accounting and taxation affairs.
Simon commenced his training with a national firm of Chartered Accountants in Exeter in 1983, qualifying in 1991, and subsequently joining his wife in partnership in October 1996.
Tracy gained part qualifications from Bristol Polytechnic in 1984, and subsequently completed further professional examinations through the same firm as her husband. She set up her own private practice in March 1993.
We do not rely on any form of advertising, other than our website, as we have found historically that our existing clients have been more than willing to recommend us. We therefore have a diverse client base, covering a wide variety of businesses within a radius of roughly 50 miles of Exeter, with one or two further afield, and some now overseas.

We are a firm of Chartered Certified Accountants, set up in October 1996. The business is owned and run by Simon and Tracy Gould, a husband and wife team, each with 36 years of experience in private practice.
We deal with all aspects of tax and accounting for the self-employed, including partnerships, and small/medium limited companies, as well as personal taxation. All work carried out is governed by our professional body – The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
Having practiced for 7 years from an office in the centre of Exeter, we now operate from a bespoke garden office at our home on the out-skirts of Exeter, where we are conveniently located within 3 miles of the city, as well as easy access to the M5, A30 and A38.
